Hi! I'm Dorothy, the artist behind Dorothy G. Coloring.

I'm a self-taught illustrator with over 20 years of experience creating art for curators, tattoo artists, graphic designers, and book publishers. In 2018, I turned that passion inward and began illustrating my own coloring books and it became one of the best decisions I've ever made.

Every book, every page, every line is drawn by hand — by me — with the intention of putting something beautiful and meaningful into the world. Most of my work celebrates Black women, Black families, and Black joy in all its forms, because representation in art matters deeply to me.

I believe coloring is more than a hobby. It's a moment to slow down, to create, to feel something. I hope you find a page in this collection that does exactly that for you.
